Stakeholder
Someone who affects or is affected by a business
Owners
Their decisions directly impact the whole business. The profits of a business effects their dividends.
Employees
Want rewards for their efforts so they might work harder or demand higher pay. Their salary effects them directly.
Suppliers
Rely on other businesses to make profit. Their prices effect a business.
Community
Might want a business to behave responibly so the business will work to satisfy the community. Members of the community might be employed at the business.
Government
Want businesses to succeed to help the economy and trade. Businesses are effected by tax rates
Customers (as stakeholders)
Prices effect what they want to buy. Their willingness to buy a product or service can determine how much profit a business makes
Consumers (as stakeholders)
Changes to a product or service will effect their satisfaction. Their demands effect the business.
Dividends
Yearly payments given to shareholders.
Managers
Can demand higher pay, want job security, control of their branch ect. They are employed by the business.
