The original recipe is 3/4 oz. each Bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, and lemon juice.
The original garnish is a lemon twist and a small paper plane affixed to the rim.

French wine-based aperitif. Described as an aromatized wine.

This is an aperitif with a deep history in the Bordeaux region of France which is located on the Atlantic coast. There are five different types: Kina Lillet (the original) Lillet Dry, Lillet Rouge, Lillet Blanc, and Lillet Rose.

Kina Lillet is derived from quinine (the tonic in tonic water).
Lillet Dry is one of the key ingredients in a Vesper.
Lillet Blanc is what is used in our Lillet Mignon.

A shrub can have several meanings but for our purpose it is a drink made by mixing vinegar with syrup, spirits, water, or carbonated water.

The flavor profile is an alternative to citrus and is similar to Kombucha.
