STAGE IA
IA: Tumor limited to one ovary, capsule intact, no tumor on surface & negative washings
STAGE IB
IB: Tumor involves both ovaries, otherwise like IA
STAGE IC
IC –> Tumor limited to one or both ovaries
IC1: Surgical spill
IC2: Capsule rupture before surgery or tumor on surface
IC3: malignant cells in ascites or washings
STAGE IIA
Extension and or implant on the uterus and or tubes
STAGE IIB
Extension to other pelvic intraperitoneal tissues
STAGE IIIA
Positive retroperitoneal nodes and/or microscopic mets beyond the pelvis
IIIA1: Positive retro nodes only
IIIA2: Microscopic, extra pelvic (above brim) peritoneal involvement +/- pos retro nodes
STAGE IIIB
Macroscopic, extrapelvic, peritoneal mets <= 2cm +/- positive retro nodes. Includes extension to liver or spleen
STAGE IIIC
Macroscopic, extrapelvic, peritoneal mets > 2cm +/- positive nodes. Includes extension to liver or spleen
STAGE IVA
Pleural effusion w/pos cytology
STAGE IVB
Hepatic and/or splenic parenchymal mets, mets to extra-abdominal orgains
