What is the FIGO staging for endometrial cancer?
A
- I: Confined to the uterine corpus
– IA (T1a): Invades < 50% of the myometrium
– IB (T1b): Invades ≥ 50% of the myometrium - II (2): Invades cervix, but no extension beyond the uterus
- III (3): Local and/or regional spread
– IIIA (T3a): Involves the serosa and/or adnexa
— IIIB (T3b): Involves the vagina and/or parametrium
— IIIC1 (N1): Pelvic lymph node metastasis
— IIIC2 (N2): Para-aortic lymph node metastasis - V: Metastasis
– IVA (4): Invades bladder and/or bowel mucosa
– IVB (M1): Distant metastasis, including inguinal lymph node involvement
