Stage 1A1 cervical cancer
Diagnosed by microscopy only, <= 3 mm in depth
Stage IA2 cervical cancer
Diagnosed by microscopy only, >3 and <= 5 mm in depth
Stage 1B1 cervical cancer
Depth > 5 mm, <= 2 cm in greatest dimension
Stage 1B2 cervical cancer
> 2 and <= 4 cm in greatest dimension
Stage IB3 cervical cancer
> 4 cm
Stage IIA1 cervical cancer
Involvement uterus to upper 2/3rd of vagina, <= 4 cm in greatest dimension
Stage IIA2 cervical cancer
Involvement beyond uterus to upper 2/3d of vagina, > 4 cm in greatest dimension
Stage IIB cervical cancer
Parametrial invasion but not to pelvic wall
Stage IIIA cervical cancer
Involves lower third of vagina, no extension to pelvic wall
Stage IIIB cervical cancer
Extension to pelvic wall and/or hydronephrosis or non-functioning kidney
Stage IIIC1 cervical cancer
Pelvic node metastasis
Stage IIIC2 cervical cancer
Para-aortic node metastasis
Stage IVA cervical cancer
Involves bladder or rectum
Stage IVB cervical cancer
Metastasis to distant organs
