- rigidity
- akinesia
- min. or no functional impairment
Unilateral tremor

Q
Stage 2 of PD
A
- BIL tremor
- tremor
- rigidity/akinesia (w/w/o axial signs)
- independent with ADL; require MOD for IADLs
- NO balance impairment
- problems with trunk mobility and postural reflexes
Trunk mobility and postural reflex, but no balance impairment; IADL mod

Q
Stage 3 of PD
A
- worsening of symptoms (mild to mod)
- impaired righting reflexes
- onset of ADL performance deficits
- can lead independent life
5.impaired balance (posutral instability)
Impaired balance; MILD-MOD impairment in ADLs

Q
Stage 4 of PD
A
- requires help with some/all ADLs
- unable to live alone w/o some assist.
- able to walk and stand unaided
- ** Decrease in postural stability, motor control, FM/dexterity**
Significant deficits in ADL, impaired motor control

Q
Stage 5 of PD

- confined to a w/c or bed
- Total A for mobility and ADLs
