A

18-24 months: child begins to make syntactical structures and develops standard english
eg: mummy+wave

telegraphic stage

A

24-36 months: child’s vocabulary increases, 20-30 new words a day
three or more words join together
most important content words are used
articles, auxiliary verbs, verbs, prepositions and missed
issues with overextension
