Staged Approach to Safe PT Movement Flashcards
1
Q
Safe Patient Handling Standard
A
- Manually lifting a pt who can safely walk is not a desirable option. However, a high risk of injury to pt and paramedic is associated w/ ambulating a pt at risk of falling. Proper assessment is critical in reducing risk of falls
