Lymph adenectomy in Stage IA1
A
- Early stage adenocarcinoma with a depth of invasion of ≤3 mm and horizontal spread of 7 mm or less has little potential for pelvic nodal metastases (less than 1%)
- The evidence suggests that there is no need to remove pelvic lymph nodes when treating IA1

Pelvic lymph nodes should be removed
