*This type of 3rd declension adjective is a bit unusual in how it appears in a word list. We can usually use the second form to identify the declension group an adjective belongs to and then drop the ending to form the stem. Because of how this type of adjective appears, we canβt do that with the second form, and so the entry includes the genitive form, just like we see for nouns, and that can be used to do these things. (For an example of how we have been seeing 3rd declension adjectives so far, see omnis below.)
