It means that a country is devoting all possible resources,money,food,civilians,and factories to the war effort

To prevent supplies from getting to a certain area or prevent the movement of ships to their destination
Armistice
Cease-fire. The war is over
Treaty of Versailles
The document created at the end of World War One to bring peace to nations and settle the disputes.this treaty was between the Allies and Germany. The document was unfair to Germany and caused biter tensions in Europe
Reparations
Payments for the costs of war; Germany was forced to pay the allies for damages caused by the war
League of Nations
A peace keeping organization created after World War One. Wilson created this organization in his 14 points. It was not successful.
Fourteen points
President Woodrow Wilson developed this plan to create a listing peace after WWI. It was rejected by many of the European Leaders
