When do you use the verb “Saber?”
When you do not personally or physically know someone or some location. Use when knowing a fact.
Ex - knowing the location of a country or knowing of a celebrity/restaurant
When do you use the verb “Conocer?”
Use conocer when you know someone, some place, or something personally or very well vs. only knowing of them like when using “saber.”
Examples
1) Conoces tu a President Obama?
A) No, yo no conozco a President Obama.
2) Conoces tu a Anna?
A) Si, yo conozco a Anna muy bien.
3) Conoces tu la bibliotecha?
A) Si, yo conozco la bibliotecha.
