Cell
- Intersection of row and column
* Activated by clicking on it
Formula Bar
Data or formulae can be entered directly into the active cell or entered into the formula bar. If you click on a cell that already has a formula, then it will be displayed in the formula bar.
Name Box
Located before the formula bar and lists the location of the active cell.
Worksheet
Grid of rows and columns.
Workbook
Contains one or more worksheets.
Scroll Bars
These components help to scroll the content and body of the spreadsheet. There are horizontal and vertical scroll bars.
Address
- Each cell is identified by reference/address
- Format: Columnno.Rowno.
- Eg: B1, C15
Active Cell
Cell with a dark boundary which is ready for entering or editing data.
A range of cells
A group of adjacent cells which looks like a square or a rectangle.
