What are the four modes of transmission
Direct contact (person to person), through cuts or breaks in the skin, in water, breathing in microbes

Touching the pus from spots of hugging someone who has the virus can spread it to you
Chicken pox virus
-rash, coughing, sneezing

Caused by bacteria, lives on dirty objects e.g rusty nails, if an open cut touches the bacteria it will pass into the body, if something with the bacteria pierces the skin it can pass into your blood
Tetanus
-lock jaw, spasms

Passed in urine, drinking dirty water containing the urine will make them infected, if someone goes to the toilet in a river then the water may make you ill if drank from
Cholera
- vomiting, diarrhoea, muscle cramps
Describe and give examples and symptoms for disease spread by breathing in microbes
Spread by sneezing, virus carried into the air in mucus, if breathed in you become infected with the virus
Common cold
- coughing, sneezing, sore throat, headache, tummy ache
