Relate the story of Luke 18:1-8.
There was a judge with no fear of God and no respect for man, and a widow woman totally hopeless.
She had a need so she continually came to the judge: she was so persistence that finally the judge have her her request.
How did God liken this story?
God likened it to unwavering faith.
Does God respond to unwavering faith?
Yes.
When you demand something and want something.
Give two more illustrations of unwavering faith in the scriptures.
- The Centurion who just said speak the “word” and my servant shall be healed.
- The gentile women who JESUS called a dog; JESUS couldn’t resist her faith.
What moves God? Is there anything He cannot resist?
God cannot resist faith: faith moves God.
What grieves God?
God is grieved by our unbelief, our constant depression and discouragement.
Why does God allow storms in our life?
He allows the storm to come until our faith can be developed. You have to be in the rough storm before you can develop and enlarge your faith.
Will God act on my faith? On my prayers?
It is true that the Lord bears long time with us, but once He starts correcting the situation and starts answering prayer, everything moves along swiftly.
