(1st step in digestion)
What is the Qi dynamic of the ST?
Descends

Why does a pale tongue manifest due to SP
+ ST dysfunction?
SP + ST Qi is blocked so nourishment can’t ascend to the tongue
Why does dampness show S/sx of scanty urine?
Dampness is a sign of SP dysfunction. Dampness blocks the middle jiao creating Qi dynamic dysfunction so water can’t descend out of the body via T+T function
