Q

What is the pathway of the Anterior spinocerebellar tract?

A

Primary neuron synapses at the Intermediate grey laminae V-VII in the dorsal horn Decusattes at the spinal cord –> travels contralaterally leaving the Superior cerebellar peduncle Travels across the midline in the cerebellum to arrive in the cerebellar cortex ipsilaterally

Q

What is the pathway of the Posterior Spinocerebellar tract?

A

primary neuron synapses at the nucleus dorsalis of Clarke. 2nd order neurons ascend ipsilaterally to the inferior cerebellar peduncle in the medulla and terminate ipsilaterally in the cerebellar vermis of the anterior lobe
