N- Thoracodorsal Nerve, Ventral ramus C6-C8

Rhomboid Major
N- Dorsal Scapular Nerve, ventral ramus C5 plus ventral ramus C4
Rhomboid Minor
N- Dorsal scapular nerve, Ventral ramus C5 plus ventral ramus C4
Splenius Capitis
N- Dorsal rami C3-C5
A- Laterally flex head & rotate face to side; BILATERALLY extend head
Splenius Cervicis
N- Dorsal rami C5-C7
A- Laterally flex & rotate neck; BILATERALLY extend neck
Iliocostalis Lumborum
N- Dorsal rami lower T, all L
A- Extension, lateral fexion, rotation of L spine; lateral movement of pelvis
Iliocostalis Thoracis
N- Dorsal rami T1-T6
A- Extension, lateral flexion T spine
Iliocostalis Cervicis
N- Dorsal rami T1, T2, rarely C8
A- Extension, lateral flexion, rotation lower C spine
Longissimus Thoracis
N- Dorsal rami T & L nerves
A- Lateral flexion T spine & ribs (L spine inadvertently); BILATERALLY act in extension of T & L spine, hold T & L spine erect (increases L lordosis); lateral movements of pelvis
Longissimus Cervicis
N- Dorsal rami C4-C8; T1-T2
A- Lateral flexion of neck; BILATERALLY extend neck
Longissimus Capitis
N- Dorsal rami C1-C3, sometimes C4
A- Rotate & laterally flex head; BILATERALLY extend head
Spinalis Thoracis
N- Dorsal rami T & upper L
A- Extend T spine
Spinalis Cervicis
N- Dorsal rami C
A- Lateral flexion & rotation of C spine; BILATERALLY extend neck
