Breaking down the production process into seperate tasks upon specialisation

. Workers highly productive - (inc wage, dec COP)
. Specialist capital for workers
. Lower prices higher quantity
3 Disadvantages of Division of Labour :
. Workers demotivated
. Risk of long term unemployment
. High worker turnover
