How:
Pt is sitting, flex head to affected side, apply GENTLE downwards pressure to head
+ve: reproduction of Pts pain/symptoms in spine/UL
Strength test- how many fingers
3 max (cant hurt you)
Vertebra artery test- for, how, +ve
For: insufficient blood flow from V. Artery (would not mobilise)
How:
Pt passive- extension, side flexion, rotation
hold for 10 seconds
1min rest, repeat on other side
+ve= dizziness, visual disturbances, dropping of arms
What grade mobilisations used for what
Grade 1-2= acute injury, pain > stiffness
- also those with allodynia
Grade 3-4= stiffness > pain
