- treats BLOOD and EMOTIONS
- treats toxins and intense emotions held in blood
- use this on problem CH directly OR
- use this on the paired CH and YSP on problem CH
- often off the ch pathway (ie LU7)

- ACUTE PAIN, BLOOD STAGNATION, ORGAN BLEEDING
- regulate qi and blood flow; treat pain
