Curriculum-based assessment - used to measure a student’s progress throughout the curriculum - teacher-created assessments
ecological assessment
evaluates the success of a specific learner in a certain educational environment by examining the learning demands of that setting and comparing them to the target student’s strengths and challenges.
typically records of behaviors but can also involve observation of the environment

Predicts a student’s success in academic success

Whether the assessment instrument was designed for and/or normed for use with similar students
Whether the instrument is reliable and valid
The length of time the assessment requires

tier interventions: describe tier 1
In Tier 1, general education teachers provide evidence-based instruction or behavioral support to all students in the class
tier interventions: describe tier 2
in Tier 2 is provided for those students who are not making adequate progress in Tier 1, and thus need targeted, small-group instruction.
Tier 2 interventions supplement the core curriculum taught or support it in the classroom as part of the general education program
