Preterite Perfect tense - AR verbs
Indicative
* The preterite perfect, also known as past anterior (el pretérito anterior), is a Spanish past tense that is usually only found in literary texts.
* The preterite perfect is used to describe: actions in the past that have been recently completed OR actions in the past that started in the past and are still continuing or seen as the present.
* In modern Spanish, it is usually replaced by the pluperfect tense.

Pluperfect (Past perfect) tense - ALL verb types
Indicative
Also known as the past perfect tense, is used to describe an action that happened before another past action.
In other words, it is used to say what someone or something had done.
To form the pluperfect tense, you use:

The conditional perfect tense is used when describing something that could have or may have happened in the past.
To form the conditional perfect tense, you use:
