I wouldn’t say that my Spanish language skills are as good as my French, but I have a strong foundation and with additional experience and training could achieve a level of fluency equivalent to that of a native speaker. This is an area where I would seek additional training.

I’ve been complimented on my precise and formal Spanish, which I think fosters respect crucial for effective police-community relations. Of course, this doesn’t account for the occasional slip-up, like the time I accidentally asked for a sandwich with makeup instead of butter!
