Large rocks that orbit the sun, once they hit earth they are called meteorites

What is the asteroid belt?
A
They are large rocks that make a circle round the sun, some of these are large enough to be called a dwarf planet, like Pluto and Ceres

How does the earth spin?
A
The earth spins on it’s axis, and a full turn takes 24 hours ( 1 day )

How does the Moon orbit earth?
A
The moon takes 27 days and 7 hours to orbit earth once. The sides you see is where the light is being reflected, it has 8 phases
