What is sovereignty?
The source of all political powers as it can delegate them and take them back easily.
What are other two principles of sovereignty?
Its power can’t be overruled, but it can only be removed or transfered , by procedures that contain popular consent.
What is legal sovereignty and who has it by the law?
Legal sovereignty is when a body has sovereignty by law and in UK the law says that the Parliament has it in the UK
what is political sovereignty?
its what the real power relies on, which most of the time its in the government’s hands
What’s an example of political sovereignty
its the government that makes most of the national laws, not the parliament/ the parliament could take the powers that it devolved to Scotland back but it is unlikely to do so.
