What power does the proprietor have over his land/colony?
A
The proprietor was to have complete control of the colony, including the appointment of its governor. The proprietor would own the land, decide how it was to be divided, and decide how it was to be governed. The proprietor would be responsible to the king, but the land was his to use, as he desired.
