Primary Source
A
Immediate, first-hand accounts of a topic, from people who had a direct connection with it. Examples: diaries and autobiographies.

Secondary Source
A
One step removed from primary sources, though they often quote or use primary sources. They can cover the same topic, but add extra details. Examples: textbooks and biographies.

A
The action or process of using your 5 senses carefully in order to gain information.

A conclusion reached on the basis of observations, evidence, and reasoning. (Like an educational guess)

The period of time before written records.
