Power Driven vessel making way
One Prolonged Blast
Intervals of no more than two minutes
Power Driven vessel underway but stopped and making no way
Two prolonged blasts
Interval of 2 seconds between, at intervals of no more than two minutes
What are the Lamb Duck Vessels
NUC, RAM, Constrained by Draught, Sailing, fishing, towing/pushing

Note what about Towing and pushing vessels
In Rule 18 towing and pushing are not mentioned so act as power driven vessels. However in restricted vis they are part of the lamb duck group.
Assume because in restricted vis more important to steer clear and assume that you need to give way.
Vessel Fishing while at anchor or RAM while carrying out her work at anchor
Dont sound the anchor signal, but sound the lamb duck, One long two short.
Towed vessel(s)
One prolonged, Three short,
at intervals of no more than two minutes,
To be made immediately after the towing vessel.
Pushed when rigidly connected

Intervals of no more than one minute:
- Ring Bell rapidly 5 sec,
- (over 100m, gong sounded rapidly 5 sec aft part, Bell fore part),
- One Short, One prolonged, one short
Aground,
Same as anchor, but three distinct strokes of bell before and after the rapid ringing of the bell. (Three balls up, three bells)
12-20 metres
Must make Aground and Anchor signals, no need to make others but some efficient signal shall be made
Less than 12 metres
not obliged to give above mentioned signals but some efficient signal shall be made at no more than two minutes.
Pilot vessel
Can sound A, B, G (Power driven + Anchor)
And an identity signal of four short blasts
