The repetition of a vowel sound. Ex. “Brāndon was āpt to pāt his āscot.”

A
The repetition of a consonant sound. Ex. “He gives his harneSS bellS a shake to ask if there is Some miStake.”

What is an Alliteration?
A
The repetition of the consonant sound in a series of words. Ex. “The Silent Seas flowed Slowly.”

What is Dissonance?
A
Language which is harsh, rough, and unmusical to the ear. Ex. “RATS (XD)! They fought the dogs and killed the cats.”

What is an Euphony?
A
Language which is smooth, pleasant, and musical to the ear.

A
The sound of a word resembles the meaning. Ex. Fizz, pop, buzz, etc.
