Pros- flexible portable used for wider shots

Used when no one is moving

Hanging - hidden microphone
Also used to pick background noise
Dynamic microphone
Less sensitive
More rugged
Better for field use
Condenser microphone
Sensitive
Less rugged
More likely to get peaks of sound
Good audio recording
Avoid low and extremely high sound where waves are cut off
