30
No Flex T/O when?
- Assumed flex temp is less than actual temp. - Windshear or known temp inversion below 1500ft agl. - Rwy is contaminated. - Prohibited by MEL or Route Manual
31
Cold weather, single engine taxi restrictions?
If temp at/below 0°C and engines off for more than 3 hours you must start both engines to check for fuel drip. Once check is ok you can shut one down.
32
Fuel drip limits?
less than 60 drips per minute. Let engine run for 5 mins, if still more than 60, shutdown engine and restart. Run engine for 5 more minutes, if drip still exceeds 60, maintenance action required.
33
What is not considered contaminants for rwy?
trace, less than 1/8", wet (unless standing water), frost. Use wet rwy data
34
A rwy is considered contaminated if GREATER than ________% of entire rwy is covered by greater than 1/8 " of snow, wet snow, slush, or compacted snow/ice.
25
35
Runway width required for a 180° turn?
- 319- 99ft | - 321-105ft
36
Engine to ground clearance?
- 319- 21" | - 321-23"

- 319- 111'10/34.1m | - 321-117'5"/35.8m
38
Vapp in the mcdu can be modified to a maximum of Vls +_______?
15
39
what are limits for bank and pitch and calls when on final approach?
7° for bank angle, call "bank bank" | 7.5° (321)/ 10° (319), call "pitch pitch"
40
If one reverser is inoperative (including engine failure) do you use both reversers on touchdown?
Yes, except if otherwise stated on ECAM.
41
If engine does not shut down when selecting master switch off, what is the procedure?
Select engine master switch back on and then off, if engine still does not shut down push the affected engine fire pushbutton. (May take up to 2.5 min for engine to shut down)
42
Below what N1 do you select beacon light off indicating engines are off?
10% (no longer a limitation)
43
IRS drift check.
2+2T. (2+2xnav hrs)
44
Service check requirement.
Service (or weekly) check must have been accomplished within 72 hrs of arrival at destination. Maintenance may apply a 2 hr extension.
45
Rejecting T/O below 100kts?
Should consider rejecting T/O for any ECAM.
46
Reasons for rejecting T/O above 100kts?
-Fire warning, severe damage, or loss of engine thrust. -Any reason to believe the a/c may not fly safely. -Any Red ECAM. --Following Amber ECAM - - -FLT/CTL sidestick fault - - -ENG 1(2) Fail - - -ENG 1(2) Reverser fault - - -ENG 1(2) Reverser unlocked - - -ENG 1(2) Thrust lever fault In case of tire failure between v1 -20 and v1 unless debris causes serious engine anomalies not is better to continue. BASICALLY ANY AMBER ECAM.
47
When is an engine run-up required?
When taxiing in icing conditions and temp is +3C and below, every 30 minutes and within 5 min before T/O. Icing conditions are rain, drizzle, snow, etc... and fog with vis 1NM** or less.
48
For non-precision approaches what is the acceptable differences between chart and MCDU?
Vertical- 0.1 degree | Horizontal 3.0 degrees.
49
Which colour CB’s are monitored?
Green. Will get “CB tripped Ecam” if out for more than 1 min.
50
Why are the wing tip brk CB’s red?
You cannot reset those CB.
51
Fuel burn, taxi (1 and 2 Eng)
319,320,321 1 eng= 9kg/min 2 eng= 15kg/min

56
For flap retraction from Full or 3, does the speed have to be checked prior to retraction?
No, not for "Full to 3" or "3 to 2".
57
For flap retraction from Flap 2 or Flap 1 does the speed have to be checked?
Yes, speed checked above F speed prior to selecting flap 1 and above S speed for flap 0.
