Where do ABPs sit and what do they need briefing
Emergency exits by doors 2 & 3
Need to be shown the exit operating instructions from the safety card
“May I ask you to familiarise yourself with the operating instructions”
Does you need ABPs in 7 crew ops?
Yes. They need to be at the exit not occupied by the CC.
Confirmation they are happy to assist

Exit locator signs
Exit signs (above all cabin doors)

What command will you hear before take off?
Crew seats for departure
When on an empty sector and just flight crew are on board and no PAX which doors need to be armed?
L1 and R1 only
If cabin crew or minimum of 1 PAX then all 8 need arming
Galley and cabin checks need to be completed every?
What are you looking for?
Every 30 mins
Ensure no signs of smoke, fumes or fire
Monitor passengers behaviour
When do the lavatories need to be checked?
What for?
Every 20 mins
No indication of smoke or fire
Free of messages or suspicious articles
Waste bin flaps remain serviceable
What is time off tasks?
50% of the minimum required crew must remain on task
Should be allocated by the SCCM
Should be advised when SCCM is resting - CS to cover
Active cabin crew to patrol cabin and lavs
Handovers
Should terminate 30 mins before descent
When do the seatbelt signs go on?
20000 ft
Approx 20 mins from landing
What will CC be advised at 10000ft?
Cpt will announce 10 minutes to landing.
Cabin crew to secure the cabin
What is required when refueling?
1 pilot to remain in the FCC - incase of emergency and communication
SCCM must liaise with flight crew to establish 2 exit doors for emergency, by means of airbridge, stairs or slide deployment
Ensure minimum required number of CC are on onboard
Activities in the cabin do not disrupt emergency exit
Lighting on
Inform CC when refuelling started/stopped
Seek clearance from Cpt before PAX disembark/embark

Stairs, steps or airbridge
Seatbelt signs or off
Doors disarmed
Clearance from ground staff outside with 2 knocks, Thumbs up and second CC for clearance

What are the rules on pregnancy ladies?
Dr note required 28 - 36 weeks
Twin pregnancy will not be allowed to fly after 32nd week of pregnancy
