- 75% of training complete

What is the commitment for Special Teams
- 3 Years
- If Promoted will be placed in Leave Pool (until commitment is finished)
If a Special Teams member leaves for less than 12 Months, when do they get their pay back?
IMMEDIATELY
When Special Teams member is gone for more than 12 mounths or Hired Special attribute, how do they get their pay?
- Must pass test with 75% or Greater
- Take practical Exam with-in 90 days
- Precepted 12 Shifts
What continuing education is required for Special Teams?
- Attend 75% of the training
- Document by completing the TAC form
- Submit form to Special OPS.
When will a Temp Promotion be made?
Vacnancy
- 90 days
- 30 Consecutive shifts of documented emplyee leave.
What happens if a position is vacant for less than 90 days?
Leave pool will fill position
What are reasons a Temp assignments END?
- Failed to preform
- Vacancy becomes permanent
- Person temped for returns to work.
- Temp promotion expires at 12 months
How long does Temp Assignment last?
- 12 Months
- Unless approved by Department Manager
- MUST be promoted before next List.
When Temp promoted what happens with Merit?
- Does not change merit date
- Continues on Regular Schedule
What happens to your pay when you get promoted?
- Salary is at least same or higher
- Increased over 5% will be approved by City Manager
How long does a Special Assignment last?
NOT Extent over 12 months
What are the responsibilities of the employee who is pregnant?
- Inform supervisor
- Supervisor will refer employee to Personnel & Wellness
- Request Transitional Work through supervisor
- When a member is reassigned they will stay there through the duration of pregnancy.
- Placed on authorized leave
- Released to full duty by physician
