Q

What is the form of the poem and why

A

Petrarchan sonnet- an octave and sestet, in the octave there is a problem and in the sestet it is resolved. At the start of the sestet there’s usually a Volta but in this poem the Volta comes early which reflects her inpatatience and desire to be with him
