- low dose of SSRI in the monrning or TCA in evening

A
- increases both 5ht and DA levels in CNS
- photosensitizer : avoid UV light exposure
- side effects : ab pain, headache, xerostomia, sexual problems
- induced by both CYP3A4 and Pgp

What to give for pain?
A
- NSAIDS and COX2 blockers
- Tramadol
- Alpha 3 adrenergic agonists
- TCA and SNRI
- antiepileptic drugs (gabapentin, pregabalin)
- muscle relaxants
- NMDA receptor antagonists
