griffiths v dawson- a solicor was sued for failing to make the correct applications for divorce proceedings, they were ordered to pay compensation to the client
give another case where a solicitor was sued involving a will
white v jones, a man employed solicitors to write up a will and leave money for his daughters. the solicitors failed to do this by the time he died. the daughters sued the solicitors and successfully recovered the money
