Q

The steps for the nebular hypothesis

A
  1. Nebular gas collapses under force of gravity
  2. Gravity pulls slowly swirling cloud of dust and gas inward, making it hotter and denser
  3. Nuclear fusion begins due to high heat and pressure
  4. The cooler outer portions of the solar systems had become compressed enough to condense solid particles and liquid droplets from the gas

Q

What is Planetary Accretion?

A

Through accretion, condensates became the building blocks of the planets, moons, and solid bodies, in the solar system

Q

Moon Hypothesis

A

Evidence suggests that Earth was impacted by a large body about the size of Mars during the later stages of its accretion
