What is the theological basis of Sola Gratia?
Theo basis:
We are fallen in sin and all our moral efforts are tainted by sin
Therefore, we cannot earn God’s favor and eternal life by our moral efforts
Therefore, we can obtain God’s favor and eternal life only by divine grace
What are some important implications of Sola Gratia?
God does not owe salvation to anyone and would be wholly just in condemning all sinners, but has graciously elected a people unto salvation.
Salvation is totally supernatural and monergistic in nature and not of our works.
