What is a software suite?
A collection of separate applications bundles and sold as a group
Why are they sold in a bundle? And what is a downside?
Because they are less expensive than individual apps however they are more expensive than integrated packages

Office suites, Cloud suites/online office, Specialized suites, Utility suites
What are examples of Office Suites?
Microsoft office, Apple iWork, Open Office
What are examples of cloud suites?
Google Docs, ZoHo, Microsoft Office 365
What are cloud suites?
Suites stored at a server and accessible through the internet
Name 1 advantage and 1 disadvantage of cloud suites
Advantage : ease of collaboration
Disadvantage : dependent on server (make sure to have a backup)
What are specialized suites?
Suites that focus on specific applications, for example graphics and financial suites among others
What are examples of specialized suites?
Corel Draw Graphics suite x6 , money free software total planning suite
What are utility suites?
Suites designed to make computing safe and easy
What are examples of utility suites?
Norton Systems Works, Norton Internet Security Suite
What is Google docs?
A tool used to create and cab with others
What are the benefits of Google docs?
To create and share docs
