Suffix to the name of a file that enables the OS to determine its file format
What is Copyright?
The legal rights a creator or developer has over their creative work or ideas.
What is a patent?
A legal right that prevents copying or duplication of an idea by anyone other than the bearer of the legal right
What is proprietary software?
Software that a user must purchase to use
What is open source software?
Software that is free to use with its source code publicly available for modification
What is the user interface?
How a user is able to interact with the computer
What are the two kinds of user interfaces?
CLI (text based)
GUI (graphics based)
What is a browser?
Program that give the user access to the internet
