The game
Anybody going outside the first or third baseline is a foul ball (runners cannot advanced and the batter gets another try unless the ball gets caught in the air which is an out)

Battis must follow the same order throughout the whole game

There are 10 players on the softball team
Base running
Runners must touch each base in order
May overrun first base only, all their bases the runner may be tagged and called out if they’re off the base
One baserunner cannot pass another baserunner that is ahead of them
Running is out if
The ball gets to first base before the runner
Grounder
A ball that is hit on the ground
Force out
The put out of a base runner who is forced to go to the next base
On deck
Next to hit in batting order
Pop up
A ball flown high in the air but not deep
Strike
A pitch that passes through the strike zone and is not hit
Base running
