A TEAR is a disruption of the fibres of muscles or tendons

A SKIN ABRASION is when the outer layer of skin is removed, usually as a result of a scraping action
What is a LACERATION
A LACERATION is when the skin is cut, the depth and location of the laceration will determine the medical treatment required eg sutures
What is a BLISTER
A BLISTER is a result of friction (rubbing), one layer of skin seperates from the other and a small locket of fluid forms
What is a STRAIN
A STRAIN is muscles or tendons being stretched or torn, this results in Pain, Swelling, Internal bleeding/ Discolouration
