A

1941/World War 2: social disrupter thus leading to more unsafe sexual relations
Post War: everyone came home (baby boom era) thus marital partners reducing cases
Late 60s to early 80s: sexual revolution, birth control pill, extra marital sex, no condoms
80s: Aids epidemic, public health intervention for safer sex
Late 2010s/2020: less condom use, antirestistent antibiotic gonorrhea is on the rise
