What is Macro-Sociology ?
The study of all sociology
What is micro-sociology ?
The study of small groups or individuals in society
What is structuralism ?
The idea that society shapes individuals.
Theres are structures in society that shape us, eg. Class, Age, Gender, Ethnicity and Disability
What is positivism?
The idea that sociology is a science, it is the study of social facts and the way society influenced behaviour
What is Historical materialism ?
The idea that all of history is shaped by how we produce material goods, food, shelter, water, clothes
What is Capitalism ?
A system where money is used to make more money. There are two classes, the bourgeoisie and the proletariat, capitalism is about growth.
