Q

Quasi Experiment

A

These are admittedly less common than correlations, but true experiments at least hold the advantage of causation over other research methods, In quasi experiments specifically, the independent variable is not manipulated because it is pre-exisitng while measure a dependent variable

Q

research method on globalization

A

Research methods for studying the influence of globalization are still being developed and refined, and there is a noted need for sampling from more diverse populations since most research has targeted urban youth almost exclusively. Since there are so many people living in different cultural contexts now a days, research methods can be difficult because of the endless list of extraneous variables.

Q

globalization & effect on behaviour

A

Globalization, being a modern phenomenon has its influences on people around the world both positively and negatively. Q

local and global influence

A

The concept of biculturalism practically rests on the assumption that an individual can have multiple identities (and therefore multiple selves). These social identities may be interchangeable, and different identities may emerge depending on the social situation. In different parts of the world, the definition of identity can vary based on their values. However with the pressure of globalization that can conflict with personal identity this lead to indiety confusion.
