What triggered the Yorkist rebellion in 1489?
resentment of the taxations granted for Brittany in 1489. Began with the murder of the Earl of Northumberland.
What triggered the Cornish rebellion in 1497?
the demands for extraordinary revenue to finance campaign against Scotland.
Which rebellion was regarded as the more serious threat?
The Cornish as it was large scale (15,000 people) where the rebels marched on London - challenge the security of the regime. But it was ceased by Lord Daubeny.
