Overgeneralization
When we conclude that what we have observed or what we know to be true for some cases is true for all cases.
Selective observation
Choosing to look at things that are in line with our preferences or beliefs.
Inaccurate Observations
Seeing or hearing things wrong.
Resistance to change
The reluctance to change our ideas in light of new information.
Adherence to authority
Inability to change our ideas because someone in a position of authority has told us what is correct.

Logical and systematic methods to answer questions
Social Science
Relies on scientific methods to investigate individuals, communities and social processes.
Evidence-Based Pratice
A clinical decision making process intergrating the best current research evidence to achieve a particular outcome, client values, client circumstance, and clinical expertise.
