A ruler of widespread lands.

A series of rulers from the same family, Chinese history is described by dynasties.

A movement of people from one country or region to another.
Clan
A group of families who claim a common ansestor.
Cultural Diffusion
A spreading of ideas and culture through the movement of people.

Of a relating to a government that owns a country’s largest industrues, businesses, and most of the land.

A fortification wall which with all its extensions, stretched 4000 miles through China, under construction from abou 600 B.C. to 1600 A.D.
Commune
A community in which land is held in common and where members live and work together.

A version of a language found only in certian regions.
Nomad
A person who has no settled home, nomads move from place to place in search of water and grazing land for their animals.
Homogeneous
Having similar members, in a reference to a group.

Extreme.

a computer driven machine that does tasks once don by humans.
Subsidize
to economically support, some governments subsidize certian industries.
Recession
A period of time when an economy and business that support it slow down.
Discrimination
Unfair treatment, often based on race or gender.
Diversify
In business to extend activities into different areas.
Famine
A huge food shortage.
Taiwan
A large island country off the southeast coast of mainland Asia formed in 1949.
Seoul
The capital of South Korea.
Demilitarized Zone
A 150 mile long trip separating North Korea and South Korea.
Plateau
A raised area of mostly leveled land.
