The act of leaders making decisions for those who elected them.
What does democracy mean?
A system of government which every citizen has a right to participates in.
What is a citizen?
An official member of a country.
What is the Constitution?
The written plan for government the United Stares of America?
What is the legislative branch?
The part of government that makes laws.
What does Capitol mean?
The building were the congress of the United States meet.
What is the executive branch?
The part if government that enforces the laws.
What is the judicial branch?
The part of government ,made up of courts and judges,that interprets laws.
What is the Supreme Court?
The highest court of the United States.
What is an amendment?
A change to the Constitution of the United States.
What is the Bill of Rights?
The first ten amendments to the United States Constitution;they state the basic rights of the United States citizens.
